Employees complete their annual OSHA training utilizing our easy-to-use, interactive, online Compliance Management System. This workplace safety course is excellent for physicians and allied health professionals. Various occupational hazards and methods of protection are reviewed.
Training includes: bloodborne pathogens, pre-exposure/post-exposure treatments, infection control, hazardous chemicals and drug exposures, fire safety, and how to prevent or contend with workplace violence. This training is available with possible CME and CEU credits.
MedSafe will complete an on-site assessment of your facility utilizing a survey tool developed by safety and compliance professionals. This assessment focuses on applicable health and safety standards promulgated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and other regulatory organizations. Unlike a government inspection, however, our goal is to improve your facility prior to loss, fine, legal action or other cost or disciplinary action.
After completing our initial assessment, MedSafe will provide a formal Report of Recommendations. These recommendations will provide appropriate links to the citation, as well as to cite the relevant standards and guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
One of the most important aspects of a safe working environment, and one of the most difficult for employers to achieve, is annual training of safety regulations (the specific safety training hazards of an individual workplace). The MedSafe program allows for on-site or internet-based online training, both approved for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by major healthcare organizations.
